Not much of a warm-up here; it's drizzling and about 60* this morning.  Supposed to get to 75, but i'll believe it when i see it.

Well, the average low at Waterbury/Oxford is 44°.  But yeah, its gloomy out this morning.

Last year it was our area that was dry.  We were actually facing long term drought and had water restrictions in place (still do in some communities https://www.ctpost.com/local/article/Aquarion-rolling-out-permanent-water-restrictions-12979956.php )

Most of NJ saying out of the gloom except the higher elevations.

I can confirm.  Driving down I-287 south was grey.  As soon as I turned onto I-80 east I had to put on my sunglasses

Everyone gets a turn sooner or later. As Rob wrote in his 2nd post, it's a chronic problem for those poor saps who live in the deserts out west though.  Would be less of an issue if people weren't allowed to use water for irrigation, landscaping, etc. No one would want to be there.

58° and rain, picked up about 1/3” yesterday and about the same so far today..Not much of a warmup over the next few days with temperatures in the low-mid 60.. Warmer anomalies head this way toward the latter part of the week(end)

Basically a range of 55 to 75  in an area 60-70 miles north to south.

Yeah - we kind of knew that going into this one. Sorry your sub-region can't join in.

We have had a series of thunderstorms with some torrential downpours since about 9:30 this morning. We now have had about two feet of rain since this wet pattern began, around July 14.

Sort threads by model......Camp Goofus, Camp Absolute zEuro and maybe Camp I'll Be Nam'd.  This way we can sneak into the other camp's for fun things like snobal fights Speedo raids

Completely dry and decently sunny here. I saw the rain scrape north last night. Though the HRDPS IS SCARY.
