And for good reason, still very dry out there, Wind chills in the 20's and 30;s today with rain, a real ugly affair.

Did that literally dissipate then re-appear after it passed over Williamsport? :classic_laugh:

Contrary to what this radar shot shows for south shore LI, I have light snow and everything, including pavement is coated now.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for southern Connecticut,
northeast New Jersey and southeast New York.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A quick moving low pressure system will result in light snow
this morning which transitions to rain later this morning into early
afternoon, with a low to moderate potential for a light snow
accumulation before changeover to rain. A dusting to around an inch
of snow is possible before a changeover to rain. Local snow amounts
of 1 to 2 inches cannot be ruled out, particularly across southwest
Connecticut. Hazardous travel conditions are possible in this area,
particularly away from the south coasts.

And for the northern zones - thanks to PM for reminding me to check the NWS.  Haven't done so in quite some time.   Will also point out that there was no treatment on the roads, nor any trucks out on my way to New Haven.

Nice flurry here...it is so cold that the individual flakes are sticking to everything. It's rather strange.

Picking up a bit here, big fluffy flakes, almost like goose down feathers slowly floating down. Looks pretty, breeze occasionally blowing them into small vortexes.
