Ukie and Canadian looking like a bigger deal for my area than the euro/gfs or nam.  Something about that combo, maybe the last storm last month, has me wondering if they're about to score a coup.

ukie has street cred and may be right.

Canadian is an absolute disaster and I avoid it at all costs. (not a joke)

did you hear about the restaurant on the moon? great food, but no atmosphere.

I know that's its track record but it pretty much nailed the early dec storm. And pretty early on. Most likely a blind squirrel thing.

All these lamentations. I'm not sure what folks were expecting out of this - surely not the ridiculous totals put out at D8+ I hope.

I've been expecting 2-3" all along and now even the SREF's are trending in that direction for IMBY:classic_happy:

Capture.thumb.PNG.a282dfe41f7bfd072663706f56cf77db.PNG

Whaaa?

That's even more than APG. I was expecting to see 2-4" on the output if you were seeing 1.75"

:huh-2:

If you ever want to know where clapper lives.  Just look for the lightest gray spot on the euro runs.  Snowhole

I'm sure PlanetMaster can relate to the resemblance to the snowhole.

Man... Do you just focus on what we are not getting? Give the pattern a chance to make it's change. 1/20 has been on the table for quite sometime now. Not just from some of the CT Mets...but, several other sources as well. I can almost predict your responses now. 😂😂😂  if you think its over and one with, than why torture yourself on this site?

( what im hoping for is that 1 great blizzard to make us all forget about what has happened up till now..then we will all be happy as a pig in..Sh&$

Not to sound like a wishcaster, but what are the chances that this system actually does a last-minute beatdown on the suppression and moves north? The opposite happened (suppression came in stronger) during the March 20-22, 2018 winter storm as I read in cranky's reanalysis, so could it work in reverse?

Long time lurker, thought this write up from Justin Berk was a good summary of the possibilities for the Mid-Atlantic folks.

I tried my wishcasting skills the other day.  It worked for a while, then reality set in.
