Accidentally deleted thread and had to restart it. :classic_angry:  I'm so dumb.
Here are this evening's model runs.

We really should adopt you K7. You're a one man gang down in this region.

I applaud your tenacity and general stick to it - ness.

I just like snow. :classic_tongue:
I'll be gone when it warms up.
It amazes me how few ppl post for the south.  You would think they'd be more interested considering it takes alot less to affect us down here.

So the GFS is basically just showing this as a mostly mountain event?
Well we'll see.  The models are still fairly far apart for it being only a few day out so it'll be interesting!

Here are tonight's model runs.  They have this thing moving pretty quickly.  In 24 hours it's off the coast.

Today's runs.  Almost here!  If the carolinas look like they're about to get ice.  Where can I go to find out how much ice they're expecting?  Like the models have snow prediction maps but not ice maps.
What's with the double lows some are now showing?

Next weekend and the following week looks like us Southern folks might get some action. Too far out to say for sure but I’ve seen some models doing the classic flip/flop already...just sayin’ 😉

Hey is this the support group for "I hate when the forecast snow 2 weeks out disappears as the dates get closer"?

Asking for a friend!

I'm REALLY hoping this forecast holds up but I won't hold my breath.

The support group? lol
No forecast holds out for 2 weeks.  Sorry dude.  WAAAAYY to many variables.
Are you asking because your friend is looking to join?

LOL, no its just a saying. I know they typically don't hold up but in my area the snow never comes, at all. There's been 5 times now where my forecast in the area showed 3-4 days of snow in a row and we still haven't gotten more than trace and flurries.

I would think your best bet would come from an amped up clipper or something like that.  Since you're on the wrong side of the mountains, you've got nothing to stop the warm air from overwhelming the cold in a south storm.

It's finally happening! My complaining has paid off lol..

Ok, it's only about an inch of snow but it should stay on the ground until the morning so the kids can enjoy it.
