WPC gives it a 10+% chance.  Also, interesting to note that CLE NWS High End Snow Maps indicate this potential as well.

So is this still a thing tonight?

The High End amounts from CLE we’re reduced with the afternoon update.  But as noted above, short range models are still saying there’s a chance.

It’s interesting how similar the WPC Day 1 map from earlier today is to the short range models. Both have a dry slot over MBY. :6:

I'm trying to stay intrigued by this. Been a while since I've awakened to a pleasant surprise. Maybe tomorrow is that day. Would be nice because today's ridiculous rain/meltdown is awful.

Did any of your snow cover survive today?  It was a depressing day for sure.

None, except for snow piles or large drifts. Incredibly depressing. Got all the way up to 46 with non-stop rain.

Got a nice dusting here. I heard sleet pinging and then it stopped didn’t pay it any attention just thought precip was over but then a bit later got up and saw it snowing at a good clip. Wish there was more it would have accumulated rather quickly. Nice coating on grass and cars.

Since I’m up, I decided to check the SREFs since the radar is pretty lit up across the SE half of OH. Most sites from the I-71 corridor east have SREF’s around 2”. Granted they’re not a great predictor of amounts, but many also show a significant jump in the last model run.  We’ll see if this trend of increase equates to some unexpected snow amounts. So much for a decent sleep.

I’m already a quarter inch or so of fine wet snow. Woke up to clean my girlfriend car didn’t lose my whole snowpack I say most spots got 2-4 inches down so another 2 inches wouldn’t hurt the fact. Also needed to lose the snow pack in a way roads were terrible my city sucks at clearing them so I’ll take what I got left and run

Snow pretty much ended IMBY. Eyeballing about an inch or so that fell atop the few inches of remaining freezing mush still on the ground. Definitely came down moderate at times.

Edit: measured 1.3”
