The AO forecast looks to be negative in this timeframe so that's encouraging.

When one looks just past this date range, that block seems to go full blow Omega. Busy times ahead. Winter all in one month?

Isn't that the way its been for some years now...........................

Actually... during this period, you can see the AO trending neutral. THAT aspect is encouraging for those in the upper Mid-Atlantic.

@RobB could you please post the AO graphs for me to confirm?

Not buying into the hype of another snow storm until 2 days before the storm let’s just say a storm might be coming

That's why Poc and I opened the way we did.

No hype - a discussion of the general idea, that is all it is at this point.

So yeah, that is what we've been saying

12z ECMWF has it snowing on the gulf around then. 3" or so in New Orleans and a stripe in the FL panhandle / SE Alabama, just about where Hurricane Michael tracked. Panama City and Dothan, AL with 5"

Par for the course this winter.

You better be nice to your mistress this time.

Mizzou's IRE shows GEFS trending lower by this period.

After some dismal day 7 scores, we are seeing a recovery. I'd say during this period we see a drop also.

Day 7...I see some room for improvement per the stationary front stretching North to just East the BM.
