Hopefully this is a little of an over performer for many, especially since this looks to be about it for a week or so. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like it's not uncommon for these systems to sometimes hold more of their strength when moving East than the models show.

I really love how these type of events end up over achieving.  Just worried that this has a chance to dry up just as easy.  I would definitely take an inch of snow, and anything above this would be a bonus.

Yeah, these events can be tricky. Sometimes they can come it better but can also dry up more than expected. With the trends though, it looks like this one though could come in wetter.

Have about 3” and it is still snowing.  Real fluffy snow. As thought, this sort of system usually does well IMBY.  I was redoing our deck but all the rain killed any chance of me finishing it before winter. Hence, the ridiculously high posts and unfinished pergola.

Hey buddy......I’m curious, what’s the elevation there where your at?

I frequent the Canaan Valley and Spruce Knobb regions quite often there in WV and Snowshoe once in awhile, very beautiful out your way to say the least!

I think around 1600-1700’.  We are between the lowlands and the higher elevations so I end up getting more than Morgantown but 2 miles to my east, Coopers Rock, usually gets a few more inches than me.   Even in my neighborhoood there is a noticible difference between my house and the top of our development.  I’ll take a pic from my favorite part of our neighborhood when I leave for work this morning and post it - the pine trees always make it look awesome.

The places you mention probably get double what I get with this sort of storm.

I fell back to sleep. It's cold and its snowing. It was 4 when I hit the hay and if its anywhere close to that the fluff factor will be high.

We are up to....17. We rose 13 degrees overnight. Wow
