Sadly not even cold enough for pond hockey on li, last yr was pretty good for it for a bit. Last year we had that 2 week period from Christmas Day (2017) until about January 8th where it didn't get above freezing. Ponds around here were frozen real good. Don’t you know it always snows on Valentine’s Day up in these neck of the woods. Seems to be a theme the last 10-12 years Edited February 3 by PA road DAWG
Storms R’ US 80 Posted February 3 This comes in on 11 February according to 06z GFS. At the end for a 24 hr per it’s 5” for part of PA and when looking at total snowfall not much at all for anyone even the NE, just up by Canada. How things keep changing. For those who want Spring and Phill not seeing his shadow you might like the rest of the GFS long range guidance. That’s because it shows more storms but just about all rain through February 19. AceGikmo 49 Posted February 3 Incredible how this storm potential on the 12z GFS is the second of FIVE consecutive very similar looking low tracks over a two week span. I propose this winter up until this point be deemed "The Winter of the Overrunner"

LUCC get your clubs and head to the heated driving range.

It may continue to change but With a mix most likely and maybe not enough cold, snow may not sick to achieve those numbers. Uscg ast 1,046 Posted February 4 I'll be honest. And this is my gut.. So obviously incredibly scientific . I wouldn't be surprised, and in fact I expect, a few week period of snowstorms and cold for the NE. 1
