February 6 - 8, 2019 | Freezing rain, pellets, rain, snow followed by freeze OBS

Staff Recommended Posts

gonna be a bad scene here overnight with winds to 80km.  No melting has happened yet due to low level E wind. Temp is 0.

More pics from today….lots of ice on everything for 2 straight days here.

This warmup isnt going to last more than a couple hours here and even then if it rains or melts it's just going to flash freeze on the back end. This is going to be nasty...

Temps refuse to budge it's the fog out there, must be impossible for weather outets to stay on top of all of these factors.

The streets aren't too bad. The sidewalks in Le Plateau near Parc Lafontaine are horrible..

Temp never got very warm last night keeping the ground mostly white here. Powerful wind gust and snow sqaulls this morning though.

only made it up to 8 last night…the teens stayed just to my E, S and W due to the low level NE wind….most of the ice melted at least, but some spots remain on the driveway and it's not going anywhere now haha

The sound of all the ice crashing onto the roof off the trees overnight was quite eerie
