February 10th-11th Winter Storm

Staff Recommended Posts

29.9 degrees with very light snow falling.  Will be heading to the office in a half hour, so I am good with the precip being light at the moment.

Moderate snow here now. Out driving to my aunts. Sticking to the roads. Temp of 30

Had that down in Florence about an hour ago. 30° and moderate snow.

As soon as it lightened up on the back side, temps shot up to 33°. WAA for the win.

Finally started snowing but it was worth the wait, it's really pouring. Everything coated quickly. Maybe I can squeeze out an inch? Doubtful, but I'll enjoy it.

Has quit snowing here. Got a solid inch. Don't think the road crews were prepared. It was really pretty out visually and pretty slick as I drove sideways all of the way home. It is 29 degrees now and occasional freezing mist. Radar looks clear for now in my part of Morgan County Indiana.

Delaware Co. is now under a Level 1 snow emergency & we will see 2-3" in a fairly short period of time, yet ILN can't pull the trigger on a WWA? Makes zero sense.

Lots of accidents on I-75 in the area.  Read where both directions of 75 are closed due to a jacknifed rig.  This is between Troy and Piqua.

Sleet and a freezing rain earlier today when the event started IMBY caused a slew of traffic accidents but now it’s mostly light snow mixed with some sleet. Roads are wet but earlier today were pretty bad. Light snow falling right now.

Light snow has started falling here. Looks like about 1-2" is the consensus between now and midnight. Might as well look like winter if it's cold right?

Nothing here so far up here but it wasn't really expected until later. We do have a Winter Storm Watch for late Monday through Wed. Looks like a busy week ahead.
