  1. 20+ cm here yet again….what a great 6 weeks of hits this has been!
  2. where are you? ya, this is pretty wild.... this last half of winter has been incredible.
  3. someone in the Hamilton area could get a foot from this thing….15-20cm down and the lake effect band is headed back this way shortly for the 2nd visit of the day. lol
  4. my 11am EC forecast update now calling for 20cm today instead of the 15cm they were predicting earlier. Also, the snowfall warning now warning of some places around here getting well in excess of 20cm possibly..... https://weather.gc.ca/warnings/report_e.html?on58#1906198541120735174201902260503ww1171cwto
  5. 10-15cm down in Hamilton so far....and the best synoptic snow is just starting to make it's way in for the afternoon/eve. Also expecting the lake band to come back down this way.
  6. looking like a general 10-20cm showing up on most models for the Golden Horseshoe....most models currently pegging the highest amounts in Hamilton-Burlington with lake breezes, but that's of course tough to predict. Will be cold, high-ratio snow.

    Feb 24-25 Wind Storm

definitely a nothing-burger down here….it was windier than this 2 weeks ago during an entire night…thought my house was gonna come down. I slept fine last night. Last 24-hour conditions at YHM show the same peak gust of 85km from early aft yesterday. Not much beyond the 70's happened overnight. Nice to avoid property damage…southern Niagara tho…Wow

    Feb 24-25 Wind Storm

nothing too dramatic so far....highest wind gust recorded at YHM has been 85k. Highest in TO has been 76. Meh. Models showing the strongest winds tonight between 10p-4am. Shore of Lake Erie has hit 131km/hr so far....big winds roaring off the lake down there.

    Feb 24-25 Wind Storm

this is gonna be wild....already getting t-storms here this morning. Short range models show potential for winds to be gusting over 95km/hr for 8-15 straight hours. RAP shows a few straight hours over 100km tonight in the 11pm-3am time frame. Pouring rain, storms, wind, snow squalls....what a storm

    February 17th-18th Winter Storm

Ended with 12cm here. Yea, the main bands shifted north quite a bit last night at the last minute. For a couple hours I was in the heaviest bands while I suspect Stoney Creek was getting very light snow, if anything….sharp cutoff with such a small system. This storm puts me over 120cm in the last 30 days! Average for Hamilton for the entire winter is 118cm….fantastic month!!
