Wettest 12 month period in record keeping history

Second wettest May for the US in 125 years of record keeping. Missed the 2015 record by .03".

From last May to this May was also the wettest 12 month period in 125 years of record keeping.

37.68"  of rain fell June-May. The previous June–May record was 35.47 inches and occurred from June 1982–May 1983.

The previous all-time 12-month record was 36.20 inches and occurred from May 2018–April 2019.

Not to be outdone, but July18-Jun19 is now the wettest period in recordkeeping history on a national level.

Also, it was the wettest Jul-Jun period for NJ/PA as well per article.
