URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI 200 PM CST Sun Feb 10 2019 ...POTENTIAL FOR WINTER STORM MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY EVENING... .A low pressure system will track southeast of Wisconsin and bring a swath of snow across the area, spreading southwest to northeast Monday evening. The snow will continue overnight and through Tuesday and be heavy at times. It appears the highest accumulations will occur north of I-94 with lesser amounts in the southeast portion of the area. Winds will be on the increase during the storm leading to some blowing snow in parts of the area. There is some lake enhancement potential so some areas near Lake Michigan especially near and north of Milwaukee may see slightly higher amounts. As the system departs Tuesday night winds will still be gusty leading to more blowing and drifting snow in some areas. 3. yep 18z nam 10:1 ratio
  4. GFS-FV3 to the rescue
  5. for chicagosnow 12Z GFS FV3
  6. If it is correct which is doubtful then we will another ice storm
  7. 12z GFS slightly better for folks in Chicago area now takes the low directly over Chicago rather then thru nw IL up to western WI on 6z so still a cutter but slightly less. 12z CMC follows GFS with stronger low in NW Indiana and nice snows around Chicago area.
  8. Checkout the 12Z Gfsfv3 to 252 hrs(lala land) you might have chance to lower you snow deficit!!!
  9. ILSNOW

February 6-??? OV/GL Heavy rains and flooding

12Z CMC is scary for portions for eastern Indiana and northern portions of Ohio. Thankfully much will change before .

    January 28-29 Clipper

from another board The RAP and HRRR don't even have data coverage in much of Canada, so yeah, would not be too concerned about them yet. System is getting closer to the US and they should keep correcting.

    January 28-29 Clipper

If the 12z Euro is mirrors the GFS the LOT should add another line of counties to the WSW and beef up the totals
  12. ILSNOW

    January 28-29 Clipper

up in milwaukee area down to the wisc/IL state line they have a better shot at happening because they will be deeper into the cold air and the GFS is currently spitting out .almost 1 inch of precip ...
