  1. Few more tidbits from NOAA August update (first image is just a prior broad brush image of neutral enso winters) https://www.climate.gov/news-features/blogs/enso/august-2019-el-niño-update-stick-fork-it
  2. I'm just nosing back in as September creeps up.....but initial thoughts are there seems to be a higher degree of uncertainty heading in to this year than usual
  3. Didn't see this posted after the release date of last Thursday. Still looks like Neutral positive is the preferred narrowly right now https://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/products/analysis_monitoring/enso_advisory/ensodisc.shtml
  4. No just popped in here to Express my love for winter in summer and how my brain is wired to thinking about the next winter haha Haha im glad someone saw my angle
  5. I just cant see a graphic like this and think "severe weather" 😂
  6. some individual cells firing north of 70 now. Those are the ones I've been waiting for, however they look pretty harmless and not quite as explosive as I had imagined they might've been. Maybe if we had gotten some clearing earlier
  7. What a crazy sequence of events. Someone turned the after burners on acter sunset last night. Went under a couple warnings but no damage, looks like it was only radar indicated here
  8. Howdy Everyone! Missed storms BARELY to my SW last night but heard them all night long. Definitely a blessing because those areas received 4-6'' of rain. I would've been in a world of hurt if that would've occurred around my flat already flooded area
  9. thats incredible! Jealous, if its gonna be 40s, cold and windy, it might as well have snowed 7''
  10. That band looks pretty good and lengthy
  11. the ECM shifted way way NW last night, the rest of models look fairly similar with a stripe of decent snow in the wester OV/ central lakes
