    Feb 24-25 Wind Storm

    Wow that's looking pretty ugly.
  2. I'm worried about the winds as well. Some of the trees around here are definitely under strain already.
  3. A lot more freezing rain than I expected here in south Burlington. Trees are sure crackling in the wind out there.
  4. Anyone know if there will be a lot of convection, rgem showing some serious precip rates. Either way 'poppy is going to be a little sloppy' with this storm. Maybe the elusive thundersnow though?
  5. Good to see you, a lot of winter to go yet!
  6. I didn't even know there was an 18z euro but wow.

Total whiteout conditions now here in south Burlington. Winds howling and snowing sideways under this Erie lake effect!

    Great read

Just finished reading this book and thought I'd give it a plug. Any weather nut will enjoy it... 18 Miles: The Epic Drama of Our Atmosphere and Its Weather

Nice lake band on the radar, thumping pretty good here in south Burlington. Reading -15.8C on my weather microstation.
