  1. You're gonna need some crazy snowfall rates to rack up much of anything IMO. Majority of the area in range of any snow is going to see 50s and 60s today and tomorrow. A 1-3" type event seems possible but that's about it unless some dynamics change w/ the forecast.
  2. Yeah, I saw that too. Every AFD I've read is calling the NAM an outlier though, so I don't expect this to really pull through unless we see some changes in the tilt of this one.
  3. Snow portion looks to be a dud now. Bring on spring.
  4. I'm more on the edge of the rain/snow line so I'll comment more on the snow. GFS has such a negative tilt that things really don't come together for any swaths of heavy snow. ECM and GEM are much more positively tilted and tap into more moisture.
  5. Is there any merit to the long-range forecast models at this point? Multiple systems the first week of April....with snow as far south as Texas
  6. I'm with you. Someone will get lucky. I can remember snowstorms as late as mid-April - of course it all melts the next day, but it still counts for something. With that said, I'm looking forward to the mid 60s for Thursday lol
  7. Just north of Philly, right? Because Philly is sitting at zero snow depth right now.
  8. . Total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze expected due to freezing drizzle. Ice will be more likely late tonight into early Friday morning. In parts of southern Ohio including Wilmington and Cincinnati total snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches can be expected. Locally higher amounts of 3 or 4 inches are possible in the worst hit areas. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for the southern regions with snow showers or flurries expected along the periphery.
  9. Long-range looks to keep the cold around for sure.
  10. I mean, why not, right? Jokes aside, this has been showing up for a few days now on the models.
  11. This looked massive for a few runs but now appears to be pretty much dead. Maybe a few inches for some folks. 12z
  12. 12z run is just..........depressing.
  13. Chicago people rejoice.....for what will probably just be disappointment lol. Probably worth watching this one though. 12z GFS
