  1. 1.75 inches IMBY on the 24th
  2. As a long time AW lurker and very occasional poster here, I personally see this forum as an opportunity to gain additional points of view about a particular storm (opinions), learn more about the true science (I'm kinda slow at that!), see what's happening in other locations (other than my own back yard), and above all have a laugh or two from the interactions of members who share an affinity for the weather (and have obvious mutual respect). I like differences of opinion. it helps me learn, but bashing of any kind (other than the humorous back and forth), detracts from the forum experience in IMHO. Many thanks to PM and the Mods for getting this up and running, and all the posters who keep it fun! Know that we do and should expect a lot out of the professionals but the fact that the weather is not an exact science is the reason many of us are here!
  3. Only about 2-3 inches of snow here close to I95 just NE of Baltimore but lots of rain. With this storm the annual precipitation has topped 62", which I believe is within 1/2" or so of the area annual record.

  6. Strong storm just through central MD .6" in about 30 min. Crazy light show!
  7. Late post but 2.5" for a round of "remnant" storms over just a couple of hours today, between 2 and 4 am. Several road closures due to flooding on the way to work this morning.
  8. 18 of 104 river gauges in the area are currently in flood stage. Up from 10 around this time yesterday. May be a few instances of multiple gauges on the same river but... WOW
